DHL Leases 1,300 sq. m of Office Space in D43 Business Center in Almaty
DHL International Kazakhstan has signed a long-term lease agreement for 1,300 sq. m of office space in the D43 Business Center, located on Dostyk Avenue in Almaty. The transaction was advised by Bright Rich | CORFAC International.
DHL is one of the world’s largest international logistics operators, founded in the United States in 1969. The company operates in more than 220 countries, supports global supply chains, and specializes in express cargo delivery. DHL employs over 600,000 people, while the group’s revenue in 2024 amounted to EUR 84.2 billion.
According to deal participants, the operator was looking for long-term office premises in central Almaty as part of its relocation. One of the key requirements was a turnkey solution, allowing the company to avoid independently managing renovation works and construction processes. The owner of D43 will complete the fit-out in line with DHL’s corporate design project and deliver a fully move-in-ready space.
Experts note that fitted офисes are becoming one of the most in-demand formats on Kazakhstan’s office market.
“Over the past few years, demand for ready-to-use offices has grown significantly. Companies are unwilling to invest in renovations themselves, as this requires substantial costs and distracts fr om core business activities. For business center owners, providing fit-out solutions increases the asset’s liquidity and enables premises to be leased at higher rates,” commented Artemiy Pestovsky, Partner and Director at Bright Rich | CORFAC International Kazakhstan.
D43 is a modern business center located in Almaty’s historical and business core (Medeu District), close to the Almaly metro station. The building’s total area составляет 6,200 sq. m. Thanks to its prime frontage on Dostyk Avenue, advanced инженерные systems, and high-quality management, D43 remains one of the most востребованные locations for international businesses in Almaty.
The lease of a large office block by an international logistics operator confirms the continued demand for high-quality office space in central locations of Almaty. It also strengthens the growing trend toward fit-out solutions, wh ere landlords take responsibility for preparing premises according to tenant requirements.
