A major retailer has leased a warehouse for a distribution center in Kazakhstan

A major retailer has leased 6,400 sq. m. at the Eurasian Logistics Park (ELP) warehouse complex in Kazakhstan’s Almaty Region. Bright Rich | CORFAC International acted as the consultant for the deal.

The tenant was looking for a high-quality warehouse in the Almaty region to accommodate a distribution center. Key selection criteria included proximity to Almaty and the Big Almaty Ring Road (BAKAD), the readiness of the premises for occupancy, and the availability of the necessary infrastructure for employees. The new facility will enable the company to centralize goods handling and improve the efficiency of its logistics operations.

“Vacancy in the warehouse market in the Almaty region remains high, but available space is unevenly distributed across facilities. As a result, large tenants are facing a shortage of high-quality units of more than 5,000 sq. m. Spaces of this size are available at only a few Class A facilities, which makes them highly liquid,” says Artemiy Pestovsky, Partner at Bright Rich | CORFAC International Kazakhstan.

The Eurasian Logistics Park is located a few kilometers from BAKAD, on the first line of Kuldzhinsky Tract in the Almaty Region. The logistics park consists of two Class A buildings with a total area of 50,300 sq. m. The complex was commissioned at the end of 2025.
