Kerama Marazzi expands logistics amid sales growth in Kazakhstan
Kerama Marazzi has leased 2,300 sq. m of warehouse space in the DAMU Logistics complex located in the northern part of Алматы. The transaction was advised by Bright Rich | CORFAC International.
The new lease is driven by the expansion of the company’s retail network in Kazakhstan and growing sales volumes. Key selection criteria included transport accessibility and the availability of a railway spur suitable for handling heavy cargo.
Kerama Marazzi specializes in the production of ceramic tiles, porcelain stoneware, and other finishing materials, and is also developing its proprietary retail network.
“The northern part of Almaty has traditionally been the most востребованная location among warehouse tenants. Proximity to railway infrastructure and major transport routes enables companies to reduce logistics costs. Amid strong demand, developers continue to actively build new facilities in this area, supporting the expansion of the established industrial and logistics cluster,” said Artemiy Pestovskiy, Partner and Director of Bright Rich | CORFAC International Kazakhstan.
The DAMU Logistics warehouse complex was commissioned in 2009. The Class B facility has a total area of 115,000 sq. m. It is located in the village of Baiserke along the Almaty–Zhetygen highway, near the Western Europe–Western China transport corridor.
